Method to the madness

There is a particular reason for each workout we do.  Some are meant to be lightweight so that you can move that weight quickly, so that you can test the limits of just how bad you can make it burn.  Others are meant to be heavy to see what your body can do to recruit muscle fibers to keep moving the weight and stabilize your body.  Sometimes we will set your rest for you to manufacture your pace through the workout.  All of these things are done so that you are able to go further than you would normally.  I have seen many members go basically the same speed on a 4 minute workout, a 12 minute workout and a 25 minute workout.  This should not be the case.  We will try to help you decide the correct weight you need for the workout so that you are getting the desired result so if you’re not sure then ask  There will be some of you that are wanting to increase your strength.  Talk to the me to decide what that change should be.  We will work to increase the weight and decrease the reps so that your intensity stays up.  For those that want to increase the motor, the opposite will happen.  But this isnt just lowering the weight.  IT will be a combination of lowering the weight and increasing the reps.  In both situations the Power output will be close, the Intensity will be where it needs to be, and the desired effect will be made.
